Sage Ventures were approached by the CEO of Simavita Limited in November to provide executive support for two activities running simultaneously within their business. Simavita are a global digital healthcare company providing solutions to the aged care industry with their SIM Platform technology.
Project 1: Partner with the CEO and senior executive team providing executive support with their capital fund raising and coordination of their investor relations strategy. Simavita's key objective was to raise funds to enable the company to deploy it’s business plans for their SIM platform technology. This project required the scheduling and coordination of a US Roadshow, presentations and investor meetings and timely Corporate Governance activities.
Project 2: Manage the CEO’s attendance at three consecutive Medtech/Biotech Conferences in New York and San Francisco. There were several challenges to overcome with two conferences being held at the same time in the same city. The CEO required timely coordination of meetings, presentation and speaking engagements during the period of the conferences. Challenges were required to be overcome with multiple time zones and being quick to manage last minute changes and juggling of meeting committments. Including a major snow storm in New York and being able to get the CEO to Boston which we managed by utilising rail travel at last minute.
These projects were carried out simultaneously over the Christmas and New Year period. Sage were happy to provide their dedicated support full time during the holiday period and was on call 24/7 to support the CEO who was operating in the United States. We were able to support the difficult time zones in a timely manner.
We need to think laterally and quickly on the spot. This is one of our strengths.
